Step-by-Step Guide on How to Manually Install eSIM on Your Samsung Galaxy Phone

Please note that not all Samsung Galaxy devices are equipped with eSIM functionality. To ensure , it is strongly recommended to verify that your specific device supports eSIM technology prior to initiating the setup process. Within this article, please confirm that your device is carrier-unlocked to enable the activation of eSIM profiles .

Having established that your Samsung Galaxy device is eSIM-compatible and connected to a reliable internet network, you may proceed with the following steps to configure your eSIM profile.

I. INSTALLATION

  • Open the eSIMno app.
  • Tap My eSIMs.
  • Tap the eSIM you want to install.
  • Tap View Instructions.
  • Tap Manual.
  • Swipe DOWN and Tap Settings.
  • Tap Connections.
  • Tap SIM manager.
  • Tap Add eSIM.
  • Tap Scan QR code.
  • Tap Enter activation code.
  • From the eSIMno app, COPY the Activation Code and paste it into the Activation Code field.
  • Tap Done.
  • Tap Add.
  • Wait a few minutes for your eSIM to activate.
After completing these steps, the installation page will close. Once your eSIM is installed, follow the instructions on the eSIM installation page to ensure proper connectivity.

II. ACCESSING DATA

  • Tap Mobile data.
  • Select your eSIM.
  • Check if you need to enable Data Roaming by opening the eSIMno app and viewing your eSIM instructions.
  • Go back to Connections.
  • Tap Mobile networks.
  • Toggle Data Roaming ON or OFF.
  • Check if you need to update your APN by opening the eSIMno app and viewing your eSIM instructions.
    • If the message displayed in the APN field reads The APN is set automatically, no further action is required.
    • If there is text in the APN field, you must update your APN manually.
  • Go back to Connections.
  • Tap Mobile networks.
  • Tap Access Point Names.
  • Tap Add.
  • Enter the new APN in the APN field.
  • Tap OK.
  • Enter eSIMno as the APN's label in the Name field.
  • Leave the other fields blank
  • Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner
  • Tap Save.
