Step-by-Step Guide on How to Manually Install eSIM on Your iOS Phone
Please note that not all iOS devices are equipped with eSIM functionality. To ensure , it is strongly recommended to verify that your specific device supports eSIM technology prior to initiating the setup process. Within this article, please confirm that iOS device is carrier-unlocked to enable the activation of eSIM profiles .
Having established that your iOS device is eSIM-compatible and connected to a reliable internet network, you may proceed with the following steps to configure your eSIM profile.
I. INSTALLATION
- Open the eSIMno app.
- Tap My eSIMs.
- Tap the eSIM you want to install.
- Tap View Instructions.
- Tap Manual.
- EXIT the eSIMno app, then GO to Settings.
- TAP Cellular or Mobile.
- TAP Add eSIM.
- TAP Use QR Code.
- TAP Enter Details Manually.
- From the eSIMno app, COPY the SM-DP+ Address and paste it into the SM-DP+ Address field.
- Then, COPY and PASTE the Activation Code and Confirmation Code (if prompted).
- TAP NEXT.
- TAP Continue twice.
- WAIT a few minutes for your eSIM to activate.
- TAP Done.
- ADD a Cellular/Mobile Plan Label to the newly installed eSIM.
- TAP Secondary.
- ENTER eSIMnoor your preferred label.
- TAP Done.
- TAP Continue.
- SELECT your Primary line for calls and text messages.
- TAP Continue.
- SELECT your Primary line for iMessage & FaceTime.
- TAP Continue.
- SELECT your eSIMnoeSIM for Cellular/Mobile Data.
- ENSURE that Allow Cellular Data Switching is turned off.
- TAP Continue.
After completing these steps, the installation page will close. Once your eSIM is installed, follow the instructions on the eSIM installation page to ensure proper connectivity.
II. ACCESSING DATA
- GO to Settings.
- TAP Cellular or Mobile.
- TAP your eSIM.
- ENSURE that the eSIM is enabled. If not, toggle Turn On This Line.
- CHECK if you need to enable Data Roaming on your device by opening the eSIMno app and viewing your eSIM instructions.
- TOGGLE Data Roaming ON or OFF.
- GO to Cellular or Mobile Settings.
- TAP Cellular or Mobile Data and select your eSIM.
Your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network.
