How to Get Your eSIM

  1. Pick Your US Data Plan
Choose from eSIMno plans sized for a weekend theme-park trip or a multi-week cross-country adventure. Coverage works at MCO, across Orlando, and nationwide.
  2. Install Before Your Flight
Scan the QR code at home over WiFi. Your iPhone or Android stores the eSIM profile — no physical card, no kiosk queue after landing.
  3. Activate After Touchdown
Once the aircraft reaches the gate and the captain clears phone use, switch off airplane mode. Your eSIM connects to AT&T or Verizon within seconds.
  4. Set Data Line for Mobile Use
In dual-SIM settings, assign the eSIMno line for cellular data. Your home SIM stays active for incoming calls — no roaming charges on the data side.
  5. Navigate MCO and Beyond
Pull up the Uber zone at Level 2, check Brightline departures, message your Disney transfer — your data is live before you reach baggage claim.

Traveler Tips

  • Rideshare pickup at the North Terminal is on Level 2 of the A-side and B-side parking garages — your app needs data to confirm driver location and share your pin.
  • Terminal C connects directly to Brightline at the Intermodal Facility; trains run to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami (3h 30min journey) — book via the Brightline app over your eSIM data.
  • International arrivals clear customs at either Airside 4 or Terminal C; plan 90-120 minutes for international-to-domestic connections including bag re-check and TSA re-screening.
  • Keep your home SIM active for incoming calls — eSIMno handles data, your home line handles voice. Use WhatsApp or FaceTime over eSIM data for outgoing calls to avoid roaming.
  • TSA checkpoints in the North Terminal close around 9:30-10:30 PM and reopen at 4:00 AM — early departures may require overnight wait landside; the Hyatt Regency inside the terminal is the only on-property hotel.
  • Mears Connect and Sunshine Flyer shuttles to Walt Disney World hotels require booking confirmation on your phone — have data ready to pull up your reservation at the pickup curb.

Why You Need an eSIM at MCO

Orlando International Airport sprawls across two terminal complexes separated by shuttle buses, elevated walkways, and the Automated People Mover trains that run every 2-3 minutes between landside and the four airsides. The North Terminal alone serves Southwest, Delta, American, United, and most international legacy carriers — navigating gate changes, rebooking connections, and coordinating ground transport all depend on live data.

Rideshare coordination at MCO is a multi-step process. Uber and Lyft pickups sit at Level 2 of the A-side and B-side parking garages for the North Terminal, or at Level 1 of Terminal C's Ground Transportation area. Your app needs data to request the ride, share your precise garage location, and track the driver through the concrete maze. Surge pricing spikes after major flight banks land in the evening — checking real-time estimates before you commit saves money and frustration.

Theme Park Transfers and Brightline

Most visitors head straight to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, or SeaWorld. Mears Connect shuttles ($16-$32 one way, 45-75 minutes) require booking confirmation on your phone at the pickup curb. Brightline high-speed rail departs from Terminal C's Intermodal Facility toward Miami — the app handles mobile tickets, seat selection, and real-time departure updates. Group chats with family already at the resort keep everyone synced without burning international roaming credits.

eSIMno plans for Orlando International Airport connect through AT&T and Verizon — the same networks covering the terminals, the APM platforms, the rental car center, and every highway between MCO and the parks. Install before departure, activate after landing, and your phone is live before you reach baggage carousel 1.

Visiting Orlando International Airport

MCO operates 24 hours but TSA checkpoints in the North Terminal close between 9:30-10:30 PM and reopen around 4:00 AM. Passengers on early-morning flights cannot clear security overnight and must wait landside — the Hyatt Regency built into the North Terminal atrium is the only on-property hotel option for overnight stays.

Terminal Layout

The North Terminal (Terminals A and B) handles Southwest at Airside 1, Delta and American at Airside 4, plus Frontier and Silver at Airside 2. Terminal C (South Terminal) serves JetBlue, Emirates, British Airways, and Brightline rail connections. There is no airside connection between complexes — transferring passengers must exit security, use the landside shuttle or parking garage walkway (15-25 minutes), and re-clear TSA.

Ground Transportation

Taxi flat rates run approximately $40-$55 to downtown Orlando (25-35 minutes off-peak), $55-$70 to International Drive, and $70-$95 to Walt Disney World. Lynx public buses (Routes 11, 42, 51, 111) charge $2.00 single fare with day passes at $4.50 — travel time downtown is 50-70 minutes depending on route. Car rental brands (Alamo, Hertz, Enterprise, Avis, Budget) operate at the Ground Transportation level adjacent to the terminals — no off-airport shuttle needed.

Yes. eSIMno plans connect through AT&T and Verizon, which provide strong coverage across both the North Terminal and Terminal C, including the APM trains, baggage claim areas, and the parking garage rideshare zones.

Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft work from Level 2 of the North Terminal garages — your eSIM data confirms the driver, shares your location, and tracks arrival. Mears Connect shuttles require booking confirmation on your phone at the pickup curb. The journey runs 45-75 minutes depending on traffic and resort destination.

Absolutely. Your home SIM stays active for incoming calls and texts — no setup needed. The eSIMno line handles all data (maps, rideshare, messaging apps). For outgoing calls, use WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Google Meet over your eSIM data to avoid roaming charges on your home carrier.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Find helpful information to answer your questions

What smartphones support eSIM?
Most modern devices support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 through S25 series, Google Pixel 4 and later, Huawei P40 and later, and many recent iPads. Check our full compatibility list before purchasing to confirm your device is supported.
What makes eSIMno different from other eSIM services?
eSIMno partners directly with local operators in over 200 countries, eliminating intermediaries. This direct relationship lets us offer competitive pricing, extensive coverage, and faster activation than resellers who route data through third parties.
Can I switch the eSIM to a different phone after activation?
Generally no. Once an eSIM is activated on a device, it's tied to that device. If you switch phones, you'll need to install a new eSIM. Some carriers offer eSIM transfer features, but eSIMno plans don't currently support transfer between devices.
Can I install my eSIM before traveling?
Yes - setting it up before your trip is the easiest approach. Your confirmation email contains the QR code, a one-tap install link and the manual SM-DP+ / activation codes (the same options are also available via sign in > Profile > My eSIMs > Install). While on Wi-Fi at home, install it with the one-tap link on your phone, or - to use the QR - show it on another screen or a printout and scan it with the phone you are setting up (not another phone). Installing does not start your plan: the validity countdown only begins when the eSIM connects to a mobile network inside your plan's coverage area. Keep the eSIM line and its Data Roaming off until you are ready to start - if your plan covers the country you are in right now, turning the line on connects and starts the countdown immediately, even if you do not browse anything. Please note: once installed, an eSIM is considered used and is no longer eligible for a refund.
Can I get a refund after purchase?
Refunds are not available once an eSIM has been installed or activated - install codes are one-time-use, so an installed eSIM is considered used even if no data has been consumed. If you have not installed your eSIM yet and want a refund, contact support within the refund window stated at checkout. We recommend reviewing plan details carefully before purchase to avoid any issues.
What network speeds can I expect?
Most eSIMno plans connect at 4G/LTE or 5G speeds depending on local network availability and your device's capabilities. Speed varies by location, network congestion, and signal strength. In major cities and tourist areas, expect speeds comparable to local mobile carriers.
Which eSIM is best for travelling to United-states?
eSIMno is an excellent option for travelers heading to United-states. We offer a diverse range of eSIM plans - including regional, local, and lifetime options - with reliable coverage on local networks.
Can I tether or use Personal Hotspot with my eSIM?
Yes. Your eSIMno plan supports tethering and Personal Hotspot at no extra charge. Activate the Personal Hotspot feature in your device settings and connect other devices as you would with any cellular plan. Data used while tethering counts toward your plan allowance.
Can I install multiple eSIMs on the same phone?
Yes. Modern iPhones and Android devices support multiple eSIM profiles - typically 5 to 8 stored profiles, with 1 or 2 active simultaneously. You can install eSIMs for different countries and switch between them in settings without removing any.
Will my eSIM work in airports immediately after landing?
Yes - eSIMs typically connect within seconds of switching off airplane mode at the gate. Major airports have strong cellular coverage from local partner networks, so you'll have data before reaching baggage claim. No setup needed at arrival.
Can I make phone calls or send SMS?
eSIMno is a data-only service, so you can't make traditional voice calls or send SMS through the eSIM line. However, you can use messaging and calling apps over data - WhatsApp, iMessage, FaceTime, Telegram, Signal, and Google Meet all work normally.
How long is the validity of the United-states eSIM plans?
The validity of eSIM plans varies from 7 days to 90 days depending on the plan you choose. Lifetime options are also available for travelers who don't want their data to expire after a fixed period.
